Is it ever okay to resort to such methods when catching criminals? New OHPD Captain thinks so.
It's a quiet evening and you're out and about just being yourself. These days that alone could be a problem if you're of Asian descent, Korean in particular. The dark web stream that was sent as message to the police has had its intended impact, spooking the OHPD into tracking down any Korean or Korean-looking individual they come across.
When a police captain, themselves, claim to be targeting as they harass individuals for having Korean candies you know that the detectives must really have no clue who the culprits must be. Is this simply the type of policing needed to catch the maniacs that are haunting our streets or has the city crossed a line and joined the criminals they are protecting us from? Only time will tell!
