Moments before disaster strikes, revelers enjoy sunny weather

You know the old adage. If a tree falls in the middle of the woods, and no one is around to hear it; does it make a sound?

I suppose we as citizens of Onyx Heights now must ask, “If I explode in a crowded party, will it make a sound?”

As someone standing just mere yards away when I can confirm that Tabitha Tanner did indeed make a sound. A loud sound. My ears are, unfortunately, still ringing. What didn’t make a sound was the lacking response from the onsite medical team, or city emergency services. Revelers were left to stand in horror and shock with no leadership or guidance. Many fled, and those that remained were genuinely shell-shocked from the viscera raining from the explosion (Shall I send a bill to the city for my dry cleaning?).

That lacking response causes one to question whether or not the city was well aware of a plotted and planned explosion. The Chief himself was present, and I assure you personally, there was no crowd control. I humbly put forth that this tragic incident was staged entirely to turn our minds away from the missing and abducted women of Onyx Heights. Afterall, Two Turners in Two Months? Reader- You are not stupid. Lightning does not strike twice!

If we cannot rely upon the city’s Emergency Services to keep us safe, who can we look to?

Mister Mayor, maybe I could get a moment of your time?
