Last weekend's raid on the Pit Stop bar by the OHPD found drugs and weapons on the premises, according to Chief of Police Ernesto Cruz.

He declined to give further details, including about the nature of the drugs nor about types weapons seized. Nor did he confirm or deny the rumor that everyone in the bar, both staff and customers, were arrested. He did state. however, that evidence is being processed and that the PD are still sorting through who is involved and who is not.

The OHPD has a policy of of not divulging information on active negotiations to the media. But Chief Cruz promised an official statement later this week.

It is believed that this is the first time the Pit Stop, which declares itself a "Not a Cop Bar", has been raided. The Chronicle attempted to contact the Pit Stop about the raid, but no one was available to comment.
